The Lott Carey Laymen’s League seeks to mobilize Christian men to engage in missions around the world. The core foci of the Laymen’s League are to:
-
Advance the missional thrust of Lott Carey,
-
Execute short-term missions assignments,
-
Support special missions projects, and
-
Recruit others for membership in Lott Carey
A priority of our Lott Carey Laymen’s League is to strengthen the Lott Carey Mission School in Liberia. Liberia continues the tedious journey of recovering from years of civil decline and civil war. The Lott Carey Mission School has often been an oasis of hope and help for children and families who continue to struggle for progress. Education is critical for a secure and stable country. Through investing to “rebuild the walls” of the school, Lott Carey Laymen are investing in peace and prosperity of the next generation of Liberia.
The two projects currently underway are:
-
Helping to fund new infrastructure on the campus
-
Sponsoring the tuition and fees of children at the Lott Carey Mission School by giving $365.00 per year (a-dollar-a-day) per child to ensure that children can remain in school.
